Multi-sport endurance athlete and coconut butter lover Brigitte Stotter (pictured) is part of a growing number of athletes opting to fuel their bodies with whole foods instead of the more traditional goos and gels.  Some of her favorite ways to use our coconut butters are in her breakfast oatmeal, added to pre-workout and recovery drinks and along-the-ride bars.

Brigitte's resume includes competitive finishes in a whole host of Ironman triathlons (140.6 & 70.3), marathons and endurance swimming.

Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCTs) are unique fats found abundantly in coconut butter that have been shown to provide many benefits, especially for athletes

  • Combing MCTs and complex carbs has been shown to increase performance

  • MCTs are easy source of energy for your body and are rarely converted to fat

  • MCTs boost energy and endurance while reducing the rate of perceived exertion (RPE) during strenuous exercize

  • MCTs consumed during recovery help muscles rebuild

  • MCTsincrease the absorption of vitamins and minerals that are lost in sweat

  • MCTs increase metabolism and energy for as much 24 hours without the harsh crash of caffeine
